Here's What Sarasota Diners Are Saying

Food-10, Service-10, Overall-10

My husband and I went to this restaurant today, we have been here many many times and we just love it. The water view is just perfect and today was no exception. There were so many boats out there today and it was just beautiful watching them. We were seated at the window where the booths are and our waitress Celeste was just as personable as could be. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. Before 6 pm regular portion dinner entrees are available for $12.95 including soup or salad.
We both chose the house salad with balsamic vinegar and oil. It was very fresh and a nice portion. Nice hot rolls accompanied the salads with a trio of butter, humus and a dipping oil. Very nice! I had the Scallops Venice in a garlic/butter sauce and pumpernickel toast points for dipping into it and a very tasty wild rice. Scallops were beautiful and not overdone. My husband had the Butterfly shrimp, very lightly coated with a spicy cocktail sauce and a large baked potato. We enjoyed our lunches again and the view and it was a very relaxing afternoon. You know we'll be back!
