Demetrios is a great Italian restaurant! It's a very famous landmark on U.S. Hwy. 41 South in Sarasota. Demetrios is one of the top 7 Italian restaurants in the Sarasota/Bradenton area! I like Demetrios better than I like the Olive Garden!! The food is great, the menu is great, and so are the prices and the service!

There is a very nice class of people that eat at Demetrios, too.

My only complaint is that Demetrios can be noisy and crowded at peak eating times, and in the winter. The parking lot is always full and crowded. And the restaurant is located on Hwy. 41, a horribly congested highway.

The spaghetti is great, the chicken parmigiana is good, and the pizza is great!

I think the restaurant could probably move to another location with more space, and expand.

I have also been to the Demetrios in Bradenton on Cortez Road a bunch of times, too.
