My
husband and I and our dear
friend Mary came to this restaurant
last night. This was our third
time to Greer's and Mary's
first.
As usual we were not disappointed
with the food. We finally
got to meet the two chef's
named Kip and Jeff. We told
them what a great job they
are doing with the place and
the food. They were very appreciative.
Mary ordered a bottle of "Madfish"
Shiraz 2003 and it was absolutely
wonderful! She and I shared
the Crawfish Cake with jalapeno
remoulade for an appetizer
$8.95. Then I ordered their
special that evening which
was the Halibut with a crispy
coating of breadcrumbs and
butter and it came with mixed
vegetables and I ordered the
salad as my second side. It
was delicious! My husband
ordered the Char Grilled Chicken
with Portobello mushrooms,
fresh spinach and brie cheese
$l4.95 and this is one of
his favorites. It came with
a twice baked potato and vegetables.
Mary ordered their Garlic
Shrimp Pasta with spinach
and tomatoes over linguine
$15.95 and she was in heaven.
I tasted some of hers and
it was just the best I have
ever tasted. Then we shared
their wonderful (made right
there) blueberry bread pudding
with whip cream for dessert.
My husband had a coffee and
it was just a great night.
We will all be back again
real soon
