Super Places To Watch The Super Bowl

Friday, February 5th, 2010

NFL Super BowlSometimes it seems like the Super Bowl is more about getting together with friends to watch the big game than the game itself. Every once in a while the NFL’s premier event lives up to it’s billing. Most times it falls short.

So, what to do when the game lets you down. How about eat, drink and socialize with friends. If you’re not going to a private get together, then, a trip to one of our Sarasota restaurants to watch the game is a more than suitable substitute.

Of course there are lots of choices. Super Bowl specials and happenings abound in Sarasota. Here’s a list of some of your possible viewing spots. Sorry in advance if we didn’t list your favorite.

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Lee Roy Selmon'sSuper Bowl Sunday is just around the corner and who do you think would be planning a great Super Bowl day? Yes, it’s #63 Lee Roy Selmon. We all know that Lee Roy’s restaurants are a great place to watch any old football game, but they have some special things cooked up for Sunday’s NFL finale.

Each Selmon’s restaurant will be setting up a VIP area, including the one here in Sarasota. For $63.00 per person (notice the numerical significance), guests will be able to enjoy an unlimited supply of Lee Roy’s famous comfort food and drinks. You will be able to kick back and watch all of action on their high definition big screen TV’s. Things get underway at 5:00pm on Sunday February 1st and space is limited.

If you’re planning on watching the Cardinals take on the Steelers this Sunday and want to leave all the entertainment planning and details to somebody else, then this could be the perfect solution.
