After a dozen years we thought we would freshen things up a little.
Every once in a while a new coat of paint is exactly what’s needed. In this case, we needed more than a little touch-up. Not exactly a tear down. But, pretty damn close.
For the past twelve years we’ve been running this dineSarasota.com website pretty much as a do-it yourself project. And, while we’ve learned a lot about what it takes to make a website run like a well oiled machine. A lot of the things we wanted to accomplish fell well outside of our level of expertise. And, I mean WELL outside.
That meant it was time to call in the pros. After some pretty extensive research and some pretty intense hand wringing we settled on a design firm that we thought best fit our style and needs. And, for a change we got it exactly right. Enter 3200 Creative.
The husband and wife team of Ryan and Cathi Murray of 3200 Creative assessed our online (and offline) needs and came up with some pretty innovative solutions to help us meet our goals. Those goals obviously include bringing you the best of what the Sarasota restaurant, food and dining scene has to offer.
A bold new look and an easy to navigate user experience is exactly what we were looking for and precisely what 3200 Creative delivered. They made the entire nerve racking process pretty painless. Well, as painless as it can be when you’re changing everything you’ve known and done for the past ten plus years.
We think things turned out great! And, we hope you feel the same way. Just because we’ve changed our wrapper it doesn’t mean we’ve changed what’s inside. You can still expect information on 300+ Sarasota restaurants, food news and happenings, an occasional restaurant review, hundreds of restaurant menus and of course our popular feature, The LIST.
OK, here’s the part where you come in. No, there’s no heavy lifting here. All we ask is that you surf around the shiny, new dineSarasota.com. Tell us what you think. You can send us an email here. Or, just leave a comment at the bottom of this page if you’d like. We appreciate you giving the new design a test drive.
Finally, here’s a BIG high five for Ryan, Cathi and 3200 Creative. We just love our brand new ride and we hope you do too!
